Welcome to Rehaurie CottageRehaurie Cottage is situated in wildlife rich woodland, conveniently located just off the A939 six miles south of the quaint seaside town of Nairn. Our home is the ideal base for you to make the most of all this beautiful area has to offer. A wide range of outdoor activities, historic and cultural sites are within easy reach. These include the castles of Cawdor and Brodie; Culloden Battlefield; Clava Cairns; Lochindorb; Findhorn Bay; the Malt Whisky Trail; Fort George; the Cairngorm Mountains and Chanonry Point, where dolphins may be seen. There are also forest, coastal and river walks in the area as well as woodland walks from the cottage. Salmon fishing on the Rivers Nairn and Findhorn is close by, with trout fishing also locally available. There is a horse riding centre situated by the River Findhorn. Nairn has two championship golf courses, hosts Jazz, and Book and Arts festivals, and also has its own Highland Games every August. Castle Stuart Golf is a 15 minute drive from the cottage. Inverness - Capital of the Highlands with its theatres, restaurants and nightlife, and Victorian Shopping Market, is also within easy reach. During your stay with us you may see red squirrel, pine marten, buzzard, red kite and a wide variety of birds, deer and other wildlife. The cottage is fifteen minutes away from Inverness Airport.
